Some of your arguments are good but I really disagree about the bundle size. You are clearly escaping a direct answer. Yes the bundle is bigger no matter how smart are you managing your dependencies. And CDN, cache etc is not the solution. The first time you are loading your dependendies, you are fucked. No matter the CDN or not.

Micro-frontends are really promising and tempting evenif as technologists we have seen a lot of (failed) attempts aka portlets, iframes, plugins etc.

Another point I haven’t seen mentioned is the question of shared state between the widgets / micro frontends.
